Now, following certification through Lenel’s OpenAccess Alliance Program, Commend’s GE300/GE800 system also has the ability to interface with Lenel’s acclaimed OnGuard® security system, which has more than 65,000 installations worldwide.

The newly certified add-on package enables the addition of powerful security functions to Commend solutions including:

  • Integrated digital video
  • Alarm monitoring
  • Automated motion and intrusion detection
  • Asset tracking
  • Integrated information security
  • Staff and visitor management

The Commend and Lenel solutions complement each other, “not just in terms of security, but also where integration with third-party solutions is concerned,” explains Commend product manager Johannes Helminger.

To be able to meet required high security standards, systems must be certified annually to interface with Lenel OnGuard.
